Mother's Day Project

We need your help in making this Mother's Day super special for all the incredible moms and mother figures out there! That's where you come in.

We need people of ALL AGES to send us a video of yourself answering the prompt:

Describe your mom in one word, pause for a few seconds, and then say "Happy Mother's Day!"

I know it will be hard to refrain from saying lots of nice things about your moms, but for the editing team's sake, please keep it short and sweet. Just one word about mom, then "Happy Mother's Day!" Thank you for your help on this project!

Here are the steps to submitting your video:

1. Turn your phone HORIZONTALLY so every video will be the same.

2. Set your phone up and check your lighting. Try to face a window or go outside in the shade for the best lighting.

3. Hit record on your device (phone, ipad, computer cam)

4. Describe your mom in one word

5. Take a few moments between and then say "Happy Mother's Day!"

5. Stop recording

6. Upload your video by Saturday, May 2.

Below are some examples of what to do and what not to do when setting up your video:

Rehearsal: Sunday Nights 5:00pm

Leader: Wayne Grothman

God has blessed us with a fantastic group of vocalists and musicians who love to sing His praise as they lead us in worship every Sunday morning. We enjoy a variety of styles of music at HPBC which includes traditional hymns as well as the best of today's modern praise. Contact Stephanie Smith at or call the church office for more information.

Rehearsal: Sunday Nights 4:30 - 5:00 pm

Student Choir is one of the most exciting and energetic ministries of Hiland Park Baptist Church. Student Choir is open to any and all students, 6th grade and up. Student Choir participates in the Worship Ministry special Worship Presentations, as well as leading worship on select Sunday mornings throughout the year. Once a year, the  Student Choir takes part in a Student Choir Mission Tour, in which the students lead worship for other churches and serve cities and communities through mission projects.
